Design goals
User-friendly overview of Portage and support for basic management of packages.
Compatible with Gentoo portage and emerge. Kuroo does not replace Gentoo tools like emerge.

History
This project started 2004-06-01 under the name of Guitoo. Unfortunately this name collided with an existing project, thus was renamed.
